I won't make any bones about it; I think Loot Crate and the services like it are stupid. If I'm going to blow my tiny earnings on "geek-themed" garbage I at least want to be able to select exactly what garbage I buy. That's why I have a wall of Metal Gear merchandise that I meticulously curate and not a semi-random assortment of POP Vinyls and fan-made t-shirts of [any pop culture icon] interacting with a TARDIS, but to each their own.
